Just Canceled OK and TX

Elise and I came to the decision tonight after prayer and discussion to go ahead and postpone (yet again) the concerts in the states of OK and TX due to the continued stress of Hurricane Katrina, and the added stress of Hurricane Rita that just came through. In total we have had to cancel about 30 concerts due to these two natural disasters. Of course this is hard on us, but more so, we want to keep in mind those who are trying to cope with the loss of loved ones and the loss of much, if not all of their personal possessions.

Please continue to pray for these people in the affected areas. Thanks!

McMinnville

It's wonderful to be here with our friends at Church On The HIll in McMinnville Oregon. We came here a couple weeks ago with Paul Colman for a concert and are back again to lead worship for the their weekend services. What an amazing group of people!
Keep Rob in your prayers as he is suffering from a really soar hip and a very bad cold. God bless you guys!

Coming Home (Idaho)

We are in the middle of Idaho right now heading for Seattle. We should arrive sometime after midnight...will be nice to be back in our own bed. It's only been about a week or so, but we have traveled 5000 miles already! Amazing.

It was great to worship with you all in Colorado Springs at RMCC! You guys are great! Also, thanks to all of you wonderful people who have bent over backwards for us on this trip. You are a complete blessing to us!

Leaving Idaho

Elise and I just left Boise Idaho. This is the second time we have gone through this town in a year and the second time we haven't been able to nail down a place to minister. We have been desperatley wanting to come to Boise to share but for whatever reason, we never seem to get in touch with anyone in the area. Keeping our fingers crossed for the future.
We had a great time with you guys down in ROSEBURG OREGON and also in McMinnville at the CHURCH ON THE HILL when we played with Paul Colman. What a great night that was. Thanks for laughing at our jokes and singing along! We'll see you sooner than later!

Day 1

We just arrived in Portland Oregon about 10 minutes ago to visit with our friends at Portland Eastside Foursquare and the Sacred Grounds Coffee Shop. If you ever get a chance to come visit these guys, I would recommend it HIGHLY.

We are on our way down south to Roseburg Orgeon to take part in an event called MANA FEST 2005. This event is to raise awareness and to help bring homeless kids off the streets. Others that are there are Rebecca St. James, Sonic Flood, Rock N' Roll Worship Circus, Everyday Sunday, Paul Coleman, and many more. Check it out at www.mana-fest.com.

We will be leading worship for 5000 people tomorrow along side Paul Coleman (from the Paul Coleman Trio) and also sharing a few of our songs as well. Should be a wonderful time!

Keep praying for the people in New Orleans and the other states affected by Hurrican Katrina.

Tour Schedule Change

It goes without saying that our country is in the midst of interesting times. Those of us who are not in the vicinity of the fallout from hurricane Katrina can only watch in shock at the amount of destruction caused by this natural disaster. Our hearts and our prayers have continually gone out to those in these areas and the families that have lost loved ones.

As a result of the hurricane, most you already know that fuel prices have jumped considerably, surpassing $5.00 in some areas of the country and averaging about $3.00+ a gallon as of today, with no sign of letting up soon. Because of this, we have had to pray for direction and for wisdom if coming to your area on tour would be the best decision at this time. After praying and seeking the Lord and the counsel of our Pastor and friends, we have concluded that we legitimately cannot afford to travel the full distance we had hoped to on this tour. Jacob's Well does not charge to book concerts or charge admission to concerts. We have always maintained that where the Lord would lead us to go, He would provide for us...and He always has! We inform fellowships from the start that we only ask for a "love offering and/or honorarium of whatever you can afford" to be considered in lieu of a booking fee. So what makes this diffrent than any other tour we have gone on? Absolutely nothing. God has been faithful to provide, however we simply feel that it is not the "right" time for us to embark on the tour beyond the West Coast and Mid-West States of WA, OR, CA, ID, UT, CO, OK, TX, NM, and AZ due to sudden and radically rising gas prices & the unsettledness of the southern states, where most of our concerts have been booked.

We have been encouraged by you, the fellowships who have invited us to come share with you and worship with you this season. Elise and I feel very encouraged by this decision and trust you will accept or most sincere apologies for asking you to postpone our visit to your fellowship. We would however like to discuss rescheduling a date with you in the near future if the Lord would lead you to do so. If you are interested, please let me know and we can begin praying together about the best way to make this happen.

In the meantime dear Saints, continue praying for the people who have been devastated by this tragedy. Not only that, I petition you also to pray for our country... that in the midst of such catastrophic tragedy, countless souls would recognize and respond to the Lord! What interesting times we live in....

God richly bless you all!

-Rob and Elise
